Building Healthy Habits Together: Our Visit to Kirby Hill Church of England Primary School
Last week, our team had the pleasure of visiting Kirby Hill Church of England Primary School. Which was a wonderful opportunity to connect with local families and support the community we’re proud to serve. Community engagement isn’t just something we talk about; it’s something we actively invest in. School visits like this are one of the most meaningful ways we can make a difference.
Our foundation dentist, Kate, and foundation hygiene therapist, Jess, spent the morning with pupils exploring the importance of good oral hygiene from an early age. Through fun demonstrations and friendly discussions, they covered everything from brushing techniques to the everyday habits that help keep teeth strong and healthy.
What made the visit truly special was the children’s enthusiasm. Their curiosity, thoughtful questions, and eagerness to learn showed just how powerful early education can be. When young people understand why oral health matters, they’re far more likely to build positive habits that last a lifetime and that’s exactly the kind of impact we hope to make.
We’re incredibly grateful to the staff and pupils at Kirby Hill Primary School for welcoming us so warmly. Being invited into local classrooms allows us to support families beyond the dental practice. As well as strengthen the relationships that make our community so vibrant.
As a practice, we’re committed to helping young patients feel confident about their oral health and feeling empowered to take care of their smiles. We look forward to continuing our outreach work with local schools and community groups, and to many more opportunities to inspire healthy habits together.
