Boroughbridge Dental Centre was founded over 30 years ago by Dr Andrew Jones, originally operating from a small bungalow a few hundred meters up the road on Wetherby Road, Boroughbridge. Around 20 years later, the practice relocated to its current home on Wetherby Road, where it has continued to grow and serve the local community ever since.

The building itself, once a renovated detached house, has evolved significantly over the years. What began as a five-surgery practice has expanded to meet the needs of our growing patient base. In 2021, Dr Richard Hajjawi, who had previously worked at the practice as an associate dentist, took ownership when Dr Jones relocated with his family.

Since then, Richard has led an exciting period of development, adding three additional surgery rooms and expanding the team from around 10 to more than 30 members of staff. Today, Boroughbridge Dental Centre continues to build on its strong foundations, combining long-standing community roots with modern facilities and a growing, dedicated team.
